Your Guide to Reading Between the Tines

Random Photo: Last Days of January in Arizona

Spring is here.

By April, when Wisconsin is finally digging itself out from under snowbanks (perhaps only to be buried a couple more times before May) temperatures will be in the nineties.  I’m enjoying this while it lasts.

    I hate you.

It was 20 here in the Twin Cities today. I went around without a coat, just a hoodie. It felt so good. 20 feels so good when you just come out the otherside of 15 days of -4 to -25.

Really, flowers already. I hate you!

    I hate you too.

I got ice cream today, because it was “warm”.

I am joining in the arrrgh party – here in CT we are expecting another snow storm on Wednesday!

We, too, are seeing spring start to ramp up after an unusually short rainy season.

I saw Japanese plum blossoms yesterday and one of the neighbors’ rose garden is in bloom.

Funny…I don’t actually *recall* being consulted when Jessica and Aaron moved to Minnesota.

    Odd.

I must have blocked out that part where I hog-tied ‘em and threatened ‘em with endless noogies if they didn’t set down roots in the Great White North.

What can I say. Memory is an odd duck.

    (Quack.)

Seriously beautiful photo. Seriously jealous of your blossoms.

Thanks, Laura! Your photo project inspired me to post more photos. I’m not doing a full-on 365-day dealie-o, but I do like photos a lot. :)
